Recently, I received an email:
"I was just wondering how common it is for a Russian woman to contact an American man, even if he is not on a Russian dating service specifically looking for a Russian women"
Alright, so this man was contacted by a Russian woman seeking marriage through one of the International dating agency.
I, personally, did not find anything unusual in this situation.
If a single Russian woman can work with computer, has an access to the Internet, and her English is o.k. , than she can easily join one of the INTERNATIONAL dating agencies and receive one month of FREE membership for being a new member.
Think about it!
In this case, she doesn’t need to use Russian dating services and depend from the agency who controls her every step of the way. She doesn’t need Russian dating service employee who has an access to her private letters!
Most of Russian women seeking marriage thru International dating agencies have no credit card to buy their service, therefore they have only one month of free membership to be contacted by men.
Among millions of members there is a small chance to be noticed quickly, or being contacted at all, especially when the first priority is given to the profiles with “Golden” or”Silver” membership.
Those paid profiles always show up first!
So, women decide to act on their own and take advantage of the free membership. They choose men that they like and send them a short letter of introduction.
At least these women had shown to be smart , brave, with respect to herself, compare to some Russian women who attend the “foreign men tour parties” and agreed to parade themselves as if they were cattle at an auction sale !
However, keep in mind that this way you also can be contacted by some scammer criminal groups that use photos of innocent Russian women seeking marriage.
